Roller Derby Leagues and Teams
Information about roller derby teams and
leagues in Australia, Canada, the United
States, and the United Kingdom. Derby
teams and leagues are organized by location.
Women's Flat Track Derby Association
This coalition of U.S. women's flat track roller
derby leagues was founded in April of 2004. Its
original name was the United Leagues Coalition (ULC)
but in November of 2005 they changed their name to the Women's
Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA). The purpose of the
association is to develop a set of rules for its
member roller derby leagues and to develop standards
for issues such as playing seasons and safety. In September
of 2007 the WFTDA voted to join USA Roller Sports as
a Class V National Organization.

Old School Derby Association
The Old School Derby Association (OSDA) was
established to support leagues using rules
more like old school, banked track, roller derby
rules. The organization is an association of
flat track, banked track, male, female, and
co-ed leagues and teams.

National Roller Derby League
Teams in the U.S. National roller derby league
have both male and female skaters and they include
the San Francisco Bay Bombers,
the Los Angeles Stars, the Texas Outlaws, the
Midwest Pioneers, and the Brooklyn Red Devils.
Junior Flat Track Derby Association
The Junior Flat Track Derby Association (JFTDA)
is an organization for girls age 10 to 17 years
of age. Member leagues use the rules developed
by the Women's Flat Track Derby Association.
Roller Derby Foundation of Canada
An organization founded by banked track roller derby
fan Gary Powers of New York City. The purpose of the
organization is to preserve the history of banked track
roller derby. As of 2002 they were trying to raise
$10,000 (CA or USD?) to build a banked track in Canada.

National Skate Derby of Canada
Mike Yohnicki of the National Skate Derby of Canada
and Bill Griffiths, Jr. of RollerGames International
entered into an agreement at one time to established
the National Skate Derby of Canada in order to bring
back banked track roller derby.
Roller Derby Preservation Association
The Web site of the Roller Derby Preservation
Association is no longer online. RollerDerbyPreservationAssociation.com
went offline sometime between April and August of 2006.
So far I have been unsuccessful in finding the organization's
new location on the Web.
The Roller Derby Preservation Association was founded by
Mike Yohnicki, a former roller derby skater and referee.
to preserve the heritage of the sport of roller derby.
