From Merlin: "Bont is an Australian company, and during the peak quad skating era (more than 10 years from the early 80's thru to the death of quad racing in 1993), supplied in excess of 98% of the Australian quad speed boot market (my guesstimate - it certainly was VERY close to 100%). Bont now focuses on inline and ice equipment (every ice speed boot and most inline speed boots are a copy of a bont design); however they still have all the templates to produce extremely high quality quad boots, if required. To order quad boots through bont, contact Sara, and ask for the "black widow" quad boot design. The cost was around $220 AUD, about 5 years ago when my last pair were made. I'd guess that you would be looing at about $300 AUD these days."
