Buggy's Speed Skating Career
Efforest "Buggy" Allmond skated for Team USA at the 1969
Speed Roller Skating World Championships in Mar del Plata,
Argentina, December 6-8, 1969. He competed again at the world
championships in 1975.
Coaching Honors Received by Buggy Allmond
In 2000 he was inducted into the USARS Competitive Coaches Roller Skating Hall of Fame.
In 2007 Buggy Allmond was Assistant Team Manager of the 2007
U.S. World Inline Speed Skating Team and in 2008 he was the
manager of the U.S. World Inline Speed Skating Team.
Where Buggy Allmond Coaches Now
Efforest "Buggy" Allmond was a member of the U.S. World
Speed Roller Skating team in 1969 and 1975 (and perhaps other
years in between those dates?). Buggy was inducted into the
USA Roller Sports competitive Coaches Hall of Fame in 2000 and he
was assistant manage of the 2007 United States World Speed Team.
At one time Buggy Allmond coached in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
but since 2005 he has been coaching the
Omni Speed Team at the at the Fun Zone Rink in Harrisburg, Virginia and
at the
Star City Roller Skating Rink in Roanoke, Virginia.
